The refrigeration system

Absorption refrigeration technology is based on the physical principle according to which when a liquid evaporates it absorbs heat, to then release it when it condenses.

A water-ammonia solution is heated with an electric resistance and therefore evaporates. The ammonia, now separated from the water, reaches the condenser and turns liquid once again, releasing heat.
At this point the ammonia enters the evaporator installed within the minibar where, evaporating, absorbs heat from the surrounding environment and becomes cold.

This process continues in cycles.


The system is charged and sealed directly in the factory, therefore does not require any further operation.




The system is shielded on the back by a metal grilled panel which also guarantees correct ventilation, making the minibar look very neat and elegant.
